Adam Rimes Speaks at the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University of Central Florida
ATLANTA (Oct 31, 2013) – Adam Rimes, Co-founder and President of Administrivia, a reliable and trusted provider of accounting, technology and human resource services for small businesses, had been invited to participate as a panelist to discuss entrepreneurship at his Alma Mater . The specific discussion was on “Entrepreneurship: Be Your Own Boss.” Adam shared his insight and expertise on launching Administrivia, a leading Accounting and IT provider servicing small business, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
Adam Rimes founded Administrivia after working for almost a decade as a certified public accountant for two of the largest international accounting firms. Working with larger organizations, Adam observed many companies struggled to maximize their accounting and technology infrastructure. He then realized small businesses struggle with those same challenges but didn’t have access to the expertise afforded larger firms. From that, Adam resolved to launch an enterprise to help small businesses more effectively manage their business critical accounting and IT functions.
At the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, Adam shared his experience around what motivated him to start Administrivia, the challenges a new business needs to overcome, key influencers along the way and the attributes needed to successfully launch, operate and grow a small business. “I was honored that the University of Central Florida, School of Business Administration asked me to participate. Starting a business requires resilience, creativity and most importantly, the ability to deliver a quality product or service the marketplace needs. Being able to share my experience with the next generation of business owners is what it’s all about,” said Adam Rimes.
With combined expertise in both accounting and IT, Adam Rimes discussed how his firm, Administrivia, is able to support clients in innovative ways unavailable to single-service providers. Clients benefit from Administrivia’s combined competencies to more efficiently and productively manage their accounting, payroll and IT infrastructure.
The event “Entrepreneurship: Be Your Own Boss” was held on the campus of the University of Central Florida on Friday, October 25, 2013 with over one hundred participants in attendance.
